VFW 9-11 Car Show

Desert Suds and Alamo Ford are hosting the VFW 9-11 Car Show this coming September 5th, 2026. Proceeds from the event are going to support VFW Post 7686. The hosts are looking for VFW members and VFW Auxiliiary Members to help with the judging. If you are interested, Contact one of the Post officers and we can get you in touch with the team and get you on that list.

Announcements

Monthly Post and Auxiliary Membership Meeting 3rd Tuesday of the Month at 7pm at the administration building for the Post, and the Bingo Hall for the Auxiliary. See calendar for schedule of events.

We are starting the new administrative year with our new leadership. Visit the 'about' and 'officers' page to see who we are. Next meeting August 18th, 2026.

We've got a car show in remembrance of the 9-11 attacks coming up on September 5th at the fairgrounds hosted by Desert Suds and Alamo Ford. If you have a car that you would like to enter, click the link here to enter. The Post members have been asked to be the judges for the show. If you are interested, reach out to one of the post officers and we will get you in touch with one of the organizers.

Welcome to VFW Post 7686 Commander's Corner. Thank you to everyone that supports our organization. I enjoy seeing those that come out and attend Bingo and support the Canteen with their many events. We are still looking for more of our members to come out and help us make this organization even better. New members equal new ideas. I encourage members of both the Post and the Auxiliary to attend their respective monthly meetings and get involved in your organization. There's always something to do and some project that needs attention. The support from our members is crucial to the survival of the post. Reach out to me personally via email if you'd like to speak to me about how you can get involved. Looking forward this year and all the things we can accomplish together.
